During the period of 2020-2022, the Covid-19 pandemic has significantly impacted all areas of social life, including education and training. The school year plans have been interrupted, and the curriculum and educational content have had to be streamlined towards the core aspects.
With the highly relevant theme "Digital Education in the New Normal - Reconstruction for Adaptation," the event took place on March 31 at Hotel Des Arts Saigon. During the event, experts from VNG Cloud and HCA Computer Association connected and exchanged ideas with universities, colleges, English language centers, and international training centers. The purpose was to introduce VNG Cloud's comprehensive suite of digital transformation solutions for educational institutions, covering everything from admissions and training to research and graduation. Additionally, VNG Cloud announced a long-term support policy, offering 100 million to participating schools. This sponsorship aims to facilitate the digital transformation process in the education sector and contribute to an enhanced and effective Vietnamese education system post-pandemic.
The education industry is actively promoting the redevelopment of technology, online work processes, and the application of Big Data, IoT, etc., while enhancing the connectivity between departments.
Digital transformation in management involves the digitization of management information, the establishment of interconnected large database systems, the implementation of online public services, and the utilization of 4.0 technologies such as AI, blockchain, and data analysis. These technologies are employed to manage, operate, forecast, and support leaders at all levels, facilitating decision-making in leadership, administration, and technology-driven enrollment support.
Edutalk is centered around the objective of keeping schools up to date with the latest solutions, enabling them to navigate through challenging times. Furthermore, VNG Cloud experts devise an individualized one-to-one support policy that caters to the unique needs of each school, effectively resolving complex issues, and sharing timely insights based on successful case studies in education.
In addition, the seminar aims to share the practical implementation of technology software for the management and training of existing schools. It seeks to address the challenges schools face when transitioning their infrastructure to the cloud (cloud computing) and adopting distance online training as the new teaching model. The seminar will also discuss the advantages and disadvantages of migrating infrastructure to the cloud and utilizing technology software, such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), ERP, CRM software, and more, provided by VNG Cloud, to support training management.
Specifically, VNG Cloud has officially entered into a cooperation agreement with six top universities and English language centers, including the University of Foreign Languages, Vietnam American Association - VUS, and ILA English Center.
